To Blog, or Not to Blog?
Anyway, they were asking people to respond to the question "Do you blog? Why or why not?"
I left a comment on the service, but I was also quite intrigued to hear everyone else's responses to the question. Those who blogged regularly seemed to focus on the idea of community, collaboration, conversation and the whole idea of "wisdom of crowds" thinking. I thought the responses of those who didn't blog were rather interesting though, with reasons ranging across not enough time, finding it all too revealing and personal, and not thinking they had anything to say.
Anyway, it's worth a listen if you get a few minutes. Click the link below to play the audio...

Do I blog? Absolutely! Blogging does everything you suggest and more. As a communications consultant, I may look at blogging a bit differently. I see it as a very efficent way of sharing information and communicating with lots of people. Its reach is virtually unlimited and it is a powerful medium that provides a rich mulitmedia experience that's easy to use. Although I'm a rather recent resident of the blogosphere, I'm hooked.... I may never write a letter again!
ReplyDeleteI find it interesting when a person reads blogs, but doesn't blog themselves. I guess they have their reasons. I know for me, blogging is essential. I find it as a release of energy. It is also nice to have a learning community, it makes you feel a part of something different :)
